Amenity Consulting, LLC is recruiting for a remote based full time DRG Recovery Auditor to conduct DRG recovery audits for contracted managed care plans.
Required Qualifications:
RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P OR RN with CCS/CCS-P
Five or more years of DRG coding and audit experience
Medicare and Medicaid policy knowledge
Expertise in MS-DRG, CMS-DRG Methodologies
Experience using health care claims data
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Report Writing Capabilities
Skill and comfort in working remotely as part of a multidisciplinary team
An ability to ramp up quickly in a new environment
Preferred Qualifications:
CFE or AHFI Credential
Experience working in a payer/health plan or regulatory environment
Expertise in APR-DRGs, AP-DRGs
Data analysis for identification of abberrant billing patterns
Experience in repricing and assessing over/underpayments
Health care fraud detection experience
This is a full time remote based employee position with a 401k and PTO plan (no health benefits). Candidates will be required to meet home office security requirements in compliance with HIPAA and client security measures. Computer and Encoder provided. Excellent Salary commisurate with experience and abilities.
