Our West End client is on the Hunt for a Senior Accountant. This dynamic and progressive company is seeking a candidate that will take initiative and enjoys working in a fast pace, challenging environment. This is a position where hard work and dedication will be rewarded.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Managing AP and AR processes including the General Ledger Account Reconcilaitons
Preparing financial statements and supporting documents including month end and year end closure
Overseeing Revenue and Expense Reporting
Preparing financial reports for Senior Management
Ensure all accounting policies are followed
Qualifications:
Minimum 4+ years of progressive relevant accounting experience
Demonstrated strength in Canadian GAAP knowledge
Completion or close to completion of qualified accounting designation (CMA,CGA or CA)
Previous experience in implementation of accounting systems would be an asset
Great attention to detail along with exceptional analytical skills
Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
Process and control improvement experience
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
