Our client; one of Alberta’s largest unions is On the Hunt for an Accounting Supervisor.
To be successful in this role you will have your CMA or CGA designation along with having 5 plus year’s progressive accounting experience, complimented by 2 plus years supervisory experience. You will also enjoy building relationships with your team and with people from all walks of life. In this role you will be responsible for:
Overseeing the month-end process
Credit and Collection
Budget preparation
Internal Controls
Reporting directly to the Supervisor of Financial Services you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 5 therefore strong leadership skills are critical to this role. (Training and mentoring play a big part in this position).
You will also have also worked on a large ERP system and have strong Excel skills.
