I have an immediate opening for an NDE Level II Welding Inspector for the Houston Area. Must be able to perform the responsiblities below:
- Properly set up and calibration of NDT equipment
- Must be able to interret and evaluate of NDT results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications. Must be familiar with the scope and limitations of the NDT methods for on -the-job traning and guidance of NDT trainees and NDT Level 1 personnel. This candidate will be able to organize and report the results of NDT inspections. Methods include as a minimum: Visual Inspection (VT), and Dye Penetrant Inspection (PT). Magnetic Particle Inspection (MT), Ultrasonic Inspection (UT) and Eddy Curent Inspection (ET) methods ma also be used. This candidate will be qualified to properly perform (VT) and (PT) testing techniques, interpret, and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
