SMC, Southern Maryland Cable has an excellent career opportunity for an experienced Sales/Business Development to cover the Northern Virginia territory. Business is for construction projects relating to technological infrastructure and external cabling. Successful candidate will be responsible to develop new and maintain existing account relationships. We are seeking an individual that is goal oriented, a self-starter for this strategic leadership position. Duties include proactive contact with contractors and bid documentation. In addition, prospect and develop new accounts; & manage all aspects of the sales cycle. Candidate must have strong customer orientation, able to develop, communicate and effectively implement strategic selling concepts. 2-5 years proven successful sales experience. Territory to include Northern Virginia and D.C, with limited travel to the main Southern Maryland HQ.
